July 11th is a very important date. Why? It's my birthday! and this year i'll be turning 21 *gulp*. I thought i'd make a quick little post listing some of the things i've learned this year and some of the things i'm still yet to understand. Does contain perhaps TMI...
2014 - 2015 WAS A GOOD YEAR. I passed my first year of Uni and moved into my lovely little house in Bournemouth with 3 of my BFF's. I laughed, I cried, I learned & I not-so-much learned...so without further ado here are 10 things i learned at 20 and 10 things that i didn't:
WHAT I LEARNED...
01. The importance of good eyebrows
02. Dry sex = thrush. Gross but true
03. The intrinsic love us females have for candles. Yankee I love you
04. Netflix will be a better friend to you than some of your actual friends
05. I should have listened to my mum and never dyed my hair
06. I should have listened to my mum full stop
07. Snacks control my life. It's 11pm. I cant sleep. I NEED SNACKS
08. Boys are still boys at 20
09. Bills are just depressing. Do i spend this £20 on a new top or skirt? OH WAIT i need to buy elec
10. Life goes on
& WHAT I STILL NEED TO LEARN
01. Whether it's learned or learnt, burned or burnt etc.
02. My postcode. is it 2JH or 3JH? i can never remember
03. How to budget. "Help me i'm poor"
04. Fake tanning; how come mine always ends up streaky
05. Saying no to "one more jager"
06. Symmetrical eyeliner wings
07. How to paint my nails. left hand = shit | right hand = also shit
08. My niche skill. I must have one. Perhaps it's opera singing
09. How to prioritize. Blog post or psychology assignment? blog post!!
10. What the hell i'm doing with my life. sighhhhhh
... and of course there's thousands of more things that i learned and maybe just one or two more that i haven't. What did you learn this year? Have you perfected the perfect eyeliner wing? (damn you!!) Leave a comment and let me know!

so apparently both are acceptable, learnt is just used a lot more in english english as opposed to american english! who knew!
