Eyebrows are so so important and i'm borderline weird when it comes to the eyebrow game! Anybody who knows me knows how obsessed i am with queen of the brows, Cara Delevingne (although i'll be honest, Gigi Hadid is creeping up there as my new number one woman crush wedesday!). Here's a quick post on the products i use to transform my brows from sparse and pathetic to "wow, you have such good eyebrows!"...
So yeah, eyebrows. They're one of the first things i notice about somebody, creepy i know. I've never been a fan of teeny tiny thin eyebrows, bold brows like Cara's are soooo much more flattering. And i don't mean to brag, but i totally discovered Cara way before she made a name for herself as the it girl of the moment.
How is that fair?? *cries into pillow* Cara slays with every catwalk show, every campaign, every selfie and i honestly think that i could be in love with her a little bit. Unfortunately, the majority of us aren't blessed with bushy brows but luckily there are so many eyebrow products out there rn that we can happily just pretend. Here are the ones that i use:
My holy grail is EYEBROW GEL. I'm desperate to try Benefit Gimme Brow £17.50 (£15.74 on ASOS with student discount) but it's a little out of my budget (#studentproblems) so i'm using the cheaper alternative Maybelliene Brow Drama for £4.99.
I'm also a BROW KIT kinda girl as opposed to pencils. Mac eyebrow pencils are lovely but they run out so quickly it's just depressing; brow kits last 300x longer! I'm a huge fan of Benefit Brow Zings £24.60 (£22.05 on ASOS) but am currently using the more purse-friendly Sleek Brow Kit for £8.49 because i'm poor. End of.
Personally, i can't get to grips with the complimentary little eyebrow brush included in the brow kits, so instead i use a thin angled EYELINER BRUSH instead, which you can get from any high street drug store. Mine isn't a recognized brand or anything, just a nice thin one so i can get a precise line.
I also recommend using a SPOOLY BRUSH to diffuse the produce and brush the brows into place. I have loads of old eyebrow pencils lying around and most of them come with an attached spooly brush, so don't worry about spending lots of money on one of these.

If you're looking for a quick way to define your brows, you might be interested in eyebrow tinting. This involves using a semi permanent dye to darken (or lighten!) the hair colour which can give the illusion of thicker brows. YAY.

What do you think? Are you a firm believer in the bushier the better? Do you have any tips for me?
